Kimi no Iru machi Episode 7

Episode 7 - "Wish" 「ねがい。」

Haruto ends up making the food Kazama requested and brings it over to him, its the only way Haruto can visit Eva, while Kazama enjoys his food a girl barges into Kazama's room and starts shouting to take the surgery, her name is Kiyomi Asakura a childhood friend of Kazama. Hearing about the surgery Haruto gets confused about how terrible Kazama's health was. Couple days later Kazama returns to school and confronts Haruto telling him that he is going to go through the surgery and that he will comeback and keep Eva and Haruto accepts the challenge.

Next scene it shows Asuka and Haruto talking about how long the surgery was and how worried they were just walking along, going to Kazama's place. Haruto questions Asuka why she can keep such a peaceful face, Asuka answers that Kazama will be upset is she starts crying. The both of them arrive to Kazama funeral. There Haruto see's Kazama's helmet and on that helmet has a sticker that read "Reserved for Haruto Diner". Eva then calls Haruto to meet up, as the two meet up at a park Eva gives Haruto Kazama's Helmet and end by saying "if we will ever meet again"

I was actually a little disappointed in this episode, one reason why may have been the way they told the story, at first I thought it was a smart idea to mix the two stories (Hiroshima arc and Tokyo arc) and tell them at the same time, but because of that, the way the story flows kind of gets mixed up, that's why when this episode ended and Kazama dies, it didn't have as much impact as it did when I read the manga version, this arc/story in the manga was one of my favorite in the whole series, but the anime just didn't pull it off successfully, also the music they chose was kind of random, it's probably really hard to choose a song to match with the scene, but I think they definitely could have done better, I feel like this part of the story is very important throughout the rest of the story, so I feel that the production group should have done a much more better job for this important part of the story.
