The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

Believe me you'll enjoy this movie.

I wish I saw this movie in theaters, if they ever have a showing of this in any theaters in America I'll be so down to go watch it.

This movie is Excellent! The only catch is, you need to have watched the TV series to understand what the heck is going on. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is the sequel to the first two season of the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise. I would recommend watching the first season if you have not, the second season could get a bit annoying (due to the repeated "episodes") but will help you understand what happens through out the movie.

I also read the light novel of this series which was a spoiler to myself, but was also a whole different experience through the beautiful visual presentation done by Kyoto animation. Kyoto animation does a solid job on their TV series so it was hard to expect anything better quality, but they totally pulled it off. Watching this in blu-ray(1080p) will blow your mind, its too hard to describe its beauty, you'll just have to find out by watching it yourself.

If your also a fan of Nagoto Yuki (like myself) then this movie is a killer, you'll get to see many aspects of Nagoto you never seen before in the series. Also Haruhi with long hair is really cute too.

The movie is 2 hours and 40 min long...that is freaking long for a animation film, almost double the length of other feature films. Surprisingly it didn't even feel that long, the way they told the story really helped flow through the movie quite smoothly. 

If you haven't watched this, then do me a favor and go watch it!!

I would definitely recommend everyone to watch Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu (Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) then go watch the movie, it will not disappoint you!

I bougth the Blu-ray limited edition which was very expensive, but it was totally worth every penny.
