Fairy Tail x Rave OAV

The special OAV that many have been waiting for! the cross over between Fairy Tail and Rave master! The best works of Hiro Mashima.

This OAV was released with the 39th volume of Fairy Tail that got released in August 16th.

The regular members of Fairy Tail have a mission to find a girl who has been disturbing the Casino's around the city, her descriptions are the following; with big breast, uses two staves as weapons and wears a heart kreuz clothing. Natsu gets lost and encounters Haru and they get along like long lost buddies, but soon as Natsu describes the culprit Haru realizes that its his comrade Elie, then they get into a fight causing trouble around the city. While Natsu and Haru are going at it, Happy, Lucy encounter Elie, they dont know what to do because she seems like a nice person who wouldnt hurt a fly. Grey and Musica bumps into each other and begin to duke it out. Then there is an outburst at the biggest casino in the area, Natsu and Haru were the cause of the ruckus, causing someone they didnt want to make angry, her name is Elza, looks like she was winning lots of money at the casino, but then Natsu and Haru notice that Elza was the actual culprit disturbing the casino's.

That wasn't the end of the story, soon as they figure out that Elza was the culprit they all laughed it off, but there was actually something else that was causing the Casino to go crazy, A talking slot machine! It was being controlled by the weird stick thing from Fairy Tail and had the power of the darkbring from Rave Master. Natsu and Haru work together to defeat the robot, while the rest of the crew from both party work together to destroy the evil coin minions the slot machine robot creates.  Here comes the battle to stop the slot machine robot by the crews of Fairy Tail and Rave!

In 2011 Hiro Mashima did a Fairy Tail x Rave master cross over manga which covers the first part of this OAV and the second part seems to be an original from the production studio.  Which was nice, because it does a better job at resolving a more conflict than just figuring out that Elza was the culprit, which is how the manga ended as. In the OAV they had Grey and Musica make an appearance as well as Juvia, but she was almost not necessary because she did nothing but make reaction to Grey, which I didn't mind because I like Juvia as a character, but many will think that she was not necessary character. Also when Let appeared I noticed a character that I did not recognize, the wrestler girl. I'm sure many of you will know who she is, and I just don't remember her.

Otherwise this OAV was pretty entertaining, it was nice to see Fairy Tail once again after the show ended in March of 2013, but it'll definitely come back, soon as Mashima finishes up more story arcs with the actual manga. Now what I really wanna see is the special cross over OAV of Fairy Tail x Yankee-kun to Megane-chan.
